Le Groupe Jenaco will bring its plumbing and natural gas expertise to the construction of a seven-storey building for the Office municipal d’habitation de Laval (OMHL).
This building with an original design includes 75 affordable social housing units. It is part of the first phase of the revitalization process in the Val-Martin sector of the Chomedey district in Laval. The OMHL wants to foster a dynamic neighborhood life on a human scale to encourage interactions.
“We are happy to bring our expertise in plumbing and natural gas to this housing project that will improve the wellbeing of the community in Laval,” said Jean Turgeon, founder and president of the building mechanics company. “This project allows us to collaborate once again with the general contractor Groupe Geyser.”
The construction of this sustainable building will continue until the spring of 2024. A team of six pipefitters from Le Groupe Jenaco is already working on the plumbing and gas contract.
