LE GROUPE JENACO was contracted to do the plumbing and gas work for Phase 2 of the prestigious Gallery sur le Canal real estate project. This second phase of the 14-storey complex includes 145 luxury condo units, lofts, and penthouses.
Since 2010, LE GROUPE JENACO has worked on many projects with Groupe Constructions Reliance, the company in charge of the project, including Phase 1 of the Gallery sur le Canal which set the tone for the Griffintown district.
“We have worked on a dozen projects with Groupe Constructions Reliance over the past seven years. This demonstrates the depth of our relationship, based on respect and trust. We are building a Reliance-Jenaco signature of excellence,” says Jean Turgeon, founder of LE GROUPE JENACO.
“It’s very exciting to be involved in the biggest phase of this real estate project that has become a reference in Montréal,” he adds. It should be noted that the Saint-Hubert company has a solid reputation for high-rise construction and the related technical challenges.
Located between the Lachine Canal, Notre-Dame Street West, Old Montréal, and the Atwater Market, the Gallery sur le Canal real estate complex is the result of a design by Geiger Huot Architects. The combination of post-industrial and modern styles blends well with the surrounding historic sites. In later phases, the real estate project will be completed by two other towers—one with 14 floors and one with 9 floors. The Saint-Hubert firm specializing in building mechanics (plumbing, gas, heating) is scheduled to start work on the Gallery sur le Canal 2 in December 2017. This contract will require the services of a dozen employees until July 2019.
