Le Groupe Jenaco will be involved in the construction of an iconic building on De la Montagne street in Montréal. The building mechanics company, which specializes in piping, has obtained the plumbing and mixed water contract for the Solstice building.
This 42-storey residential tower will have 396 luxury 1, 2, or 3 bedroom condominium units and penthouses. The prime contractor for this major project is QMD-Ménard Consortium.
“This is the first time that we will have an opportunity to work with this consortium, which is known for its culture of innovation and its desire to carry out signature projects for Montréal,” said Jean Turgeon, founder and president of Le Groupe Jenaco.
The architectural design of the Solstice housing project is inspiring and certain phases of the work are quite innovative. “Our team members will find working in this context very stimulating,” he said.
A team of around 25 employees will be assigned to work on this project starting in July 2020. The plumbing and mixed water contract will end in the fall of 2022.
