Le Groupe Jenaco has once again been selected to provide plumbing and gas services in the construction of a care residence in the historic heart of Ville Saint-Laurent.
“This is our fourth CHSLD with the firm Medifice, renowned for its many construction projects in the healthcare field,” said founder and president Jean Turgeon. “This new mandate confirms our ability to provide services and products that meet the highest quality standards in another specialized activity sector.”
Obtaining this contract allows the company from Montréal’s South Shore to consolidate its presence in the institutional environment. It also allows the company to highlight its expertise in the healthcare niche, known for its specific requirements.
This project has a very special character. It will be carried out in a heritage setting belonging to the Sisters of Sainte-Croix. The architectural plans for this healthcare residence have been designed to respect the heritage character while also fulfilling several missions, in particular, those involved in serving diverse autonomy profiles with a wide range of services.
The building will be made up of 176 housing units spread over six floors with approximately 25,000 square feet of floor space. A team of 12 employees from Le Groupe Jenaco, a contractor in building mechanics, specializing in piping, is already working on the project. Delivery of this major project is scheduled for June 2021.
